Hello, My Name is Julie Beach

I am the founder of Jubilee Farm, a small farm that is doing big things in Michigan.  Our farm includes an orchard, chickens, and an arboretum as well as an engaging learning environment to teach young people about agriculture. On the farm children are able to be a part of planting and caring for a garden, researching and learning about a diversity of trees, harvesting fruit, gathering eggs, and producing maple syrup.  Our unique atmosphere makes Jubilee Farm into a dynamic hub for lifelong learning. Jubilee Farm is fully licensed and reaches students year around with real-world agriculture learning adventures.

DEEP ROOTS

My family has been a part of the agricultural industry in this community for 164 years. Their dedication and hard work helped feed this community and our country. Jubilee Farm was built on the foundation of five generations of farmers. To carry the torch of feeding, clothing, and fueling the world forward, future generations must develop agricultural literacy. The study of agriculture is imperative to the health of the planet and its people, because it clearly shows how taking care of water and land sustains the livelihood of farming and life itself.  The values of those who farmed before me form the pillars of learning at Jubilee Farm’s Ag Collective.

LEARNING AT JUBILEE

At Jubilee Farm, we believe in the power of hands-on learning and the magic of nature. Our mission is to provide an outstanding learning environment that builds a community of confident learners through discovery, problem solving, creative thinking, wonder and play while educating and informing families about agriculture, sustainability. Whether you’re looking for a fun summer program, or a year-round collective experience, we have something for every child to explore and enjoy.
