Agricultural Collective
Jubilee Farm is more than just a place for goats; it’s a hub of learning and exploration for children. Our Ag Collective offers a play-filled learning program with an agricultural twist, designed specifically for Jr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten-aged children.

What is the Agricultural Collective?
The Ag Collective is program created for children aged Jr. Kindergarten through Kindergarten, that provides an educational, play-filled learning experience on Jubilee Farm. The children engage in unique, hands-on learning opportunities that promote imagination, problem-solving skills, academic abilities, social skills, literacy, self-confidence, and an understanding of agriculture.
Is the Ag Collective a preschool?
No. Jubilee Farm is fully licensed, but the Ag Collective is not a preschool or a daycare. The Ag Collective is an immersive educational environment for young learners. The children in the Ag Collective are fully engaged in learning while also being challenged to grow in every way. We believe that growing self-confident learners will support them for the next steps in their educational journey.
Is my child the right age?
Your child must be 5 be December 31st.
What does the learning environment look like?
The learning environment is structured and safe. We learn in all the spaces on the farm, inside and outside, including the woods, the pasture, Mud Kitchens, Farm-to-Table play space, Nature Center, Innovation Station, the Arboretum and more.
Can my child come for more than one year?
Some children that are considered Jr. Kindergarten aged may be eligible to be a part of the program for two years.
When does the Ag Collective meet?
We meet most Mondays through Thursdays beginning in September from 8:30-2:00.
Tell me a little bit more about the learning in the program...
The Ag Collective program as a whole takes big concepts and breaks them down into bite sized pieces so that children can learn abundantly. Woven in the daily fun, children learn about agriculture around the world through art, science, reading, math, writing and play. From rice production in Japan to honeybees in Michigan children get to explore worldwide agriculture up close.
Why the Ag Collective?
It is the goal of Jubilee Farm to instill in a child a love for learning and a sense of wonder that will provide a steadfast foundation for lifelong learning.
I think this may be a good fit for my child and our family, what is next?
Please see below for details. If you have not been to the farm recently you MUST schedule a tour to apply, please contact me to set this up.
Interested in having your child become a part of the Ag Collective?
Follow these four steps.
Step 1 – Applications for the Ag Collective will be accepted the first week of February. To be eligible to submit an application your child must turn five by the end of December AND you must have recently been a part of a program on the farm OR have had a tour. All families will be contacted about the status of their application the second week of February.
Step 2 – Once your child has been accepted into the program a 200.00 NON- REFUNDABLE registration fee is due, this will hold your spot.
Step 3 – You will receive an email with the needed registration forms in the summer, all are due by August 1st. At this time, full-season tuition payments can be made. Monthly tuition payments can be submitted directly through our website, due on the first of the month.
Step 4 – There will be opportunities for parent involvement. All volunteer parent paperwork must be submitted in early August. Although volunteering may or may not be required, every parent must submit the required paperwork. This paperwork will be sent to you upon your child’s acceptance in the Ag Collective. Required training will be held in the evening on the first Wednesday in August.

The personalized and fun experience provided by Mrs. Beach is comparable to none. She meets every child exactly where they are and has such a naturally warm way to communicate with them. Watching our child thrive in this program has been such a blessing. It feels like the perfect mix of Mary Poppins, Mr. Rogers, and Crocodile Dundee to create the most enriching and fun adventures.

FARM FOLKS
Farm Folks is an extension of the Ag Collective for families. The goal of the program is to support families by creating an environment that cultivates a relationship with your child that promotes lifelong learning. Below are some of our favorite benefits children experience:
-
A sneak peek at what we learned on the farm while you were away.
-
An opportunity to engage in learning with your child.
-
A space for the older children to invite younger siblings into their learning community.
-
Enrichment opportunities with a focus on agriculture, literacy, art, and science for all children who attend.
The program will meet from 2:00-3:00 on Mondays immediately after the Ag Collective.
If you are bringing siblings, you must attend. If you would like your Ag Collective child to participate and you would prefer to not attend, that is an option. Something to consider, although you may not want to attend with your child everyday… maybe once a week or once a month you could attend?
-
One day a week: 25.00 a month
